This week had been a very busy week for all community members. Teachers and parents prepared booths to showcase cultures around the world. There were even prepared games for the kids to play with and enjoy. All of the activities were engaging and fun. The whole school community loved the information sharing, the photo booths in and outside the school and of course, the dressing up (spirit week). ๐
Our biggest THANKS to the PTA and the Parent volunteers, who shared their most precious time and expertise to our students. We really appreciate it.❤️
The Grade 1s in their national attires
On the map you can see our places of origin.
We also had started our Maths lesson on money. To connect it to the week's event, we matched different currencies and flags of different countries.
KATANUKI was also shared by one student to the class. It is a Japanese game called die cutting. Everybody tried but no one successfully cut the die without breaking it.
The parents also prepared activities for the kids. The kids learned different games played here in Japan. They also learned about origami and haiku.
Dressing up in different characters is one of the most exciting parts.
Mr and Mrs Morineau (parents of Anton) shared their expertise on crepe-making. Everybody enjoyed seeing the fantastic crepe tossing and of course loved the best part which is, eating the crepe. ๐ YUM!
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH ❤️
