Rotation vs Revolution

This is a very interesting topic that our Grade 1s explored this week. A lot of them came up with lots of other questions such as:

- If the Earth is moving, why can't we feel it?

- Why are we not falling off the Earth and to space?

- What happens if the Earth stop spinning?

- Does time also stop when the Earth stop turning?

Misconceptions were also cleared and corrected.

- The sun goes up and down the sky.

- The sun goes around the planets.

- The Earth is standing still.
